I think I have backed myself in a corner looking at power line construction Lineman area. The things I have been making might have too small a market.

I am brand new to the world of CNC… So new I don’t even have a machine yet.. I am on a strict budget so I am planning on getting a 3018 CNC machine since that is what I can afford right now but once I figure it out and sell enough ornaments or coasters to get a bigger CNC machine. My question is can your bits fit on a 3018 CNC machine or are your bits designed for bigger machines? Craig

I do a lot of sign making as well as slab flattening with the 4x10 AVID. I do tables and slabs for my business as well. I have been doing a lot production wholesale work in the last few months.

Very few collaborations work out because the bottom line is $. Laser engravers have little margin due to competition and bulk purchases from over seas is still cheaper than most opporunities here in Expensive USA! I have a Shapeoko and it sits in the corner and gathers dust and it does not work at doing that. My other small projects create the dust,

Ive been planning to get a shop up and running. I'm a self-employed time served joiner, plumber,electrician, and gas engineer , I take pride and time to do it right, so I invest all my time on it. Thats going to change so u can follow my dream. Nearly got my first machine last night but was out bidded by $15 😢

My CNC is limiting me. I was an idiot and bought one without ball screws and linear rail. But I still can mill aluminum or plastic. Making some money producing adapters for dental cleaning machines. My next one, without electronic, will cost 3,5k€ for the mechanic alone.

that plastic is probably either polycarbonate,resin or acrylic but most likely polycarbonate
